GPOYW: Crossing the finish line at the first race (Snake River Canyon Half-Marathon) of 2010.
I am on the left with the blue shirt - #35. (Josh’s arm is the brown sweatshirt on the left with the camera.) :)
Ended up with roughly a three minute PR, so that was exciting, especially after being out of commission for four days the week prior with stomach flu.
What was not exciting…getting passed at the finish line and cut in front of in the finish chute by the girl in the pink. I passed her (she was walking) with about 100m to go, so I didn’t think I had to worry about her…and then to find out later that girl that passed me is my arch nemesis from the parks department. Boo.
Oh well, maybe next time. Next up…Shamrock Dolphin Challenge.
